(J.D 1975), Tulane University of Lousiana (L.L.M 1979); International Development Law Institute, Rome, Italy (Enterprise and Investment Lawyer Course, 1993); Harvard Law School (Negotiations and Advanced Negotiations Workshops, 1995); Ambassador of Nicaragua to the United Nations Agencies in Rome and Permanent Representative to the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law, 1982-1988. Ambassador of Nicaragua in Austria, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Poland and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, Viena, Austria, 1990-1992.
